Since 2007 Crystal has been immersed in event production through photography, videography, social media marketing, and corporate and non-profit organization project management. In 2017 Crystal entered the event technology space as a technical producer for a live streaming company where she produced virtual and hybrid events for clients like Dungeons & Dragons, Redfin Real Estate, World Vision, Seagate Hard Drives and Breville. In 2019 Crystal met Steve Lemma during a Dungeons & Dragons campaign in an apartment near the campus of Western Washington University where Steve is an alumnus, having studied Creative Writing & Audio Technology. The two worked together on numerous Seattle and Bellingham based projects since 2020 and discovered their shared love of creative, immersive and effective event production. Translucent Productions was born out of a combined passion to bring fun, meaningful events to Bellingham businesses and organizations through sound, lighting, art, talent and media design.
